Roofs disappear

I can't see my house roof anymore at all. It's still there (I can see it when I put up decorations and in neighborhood view), but whether I'm in live or build mode, I can't see it... but I can build another roof on top. Unfortunately, as it's not there, I can't delete it either to fix it.

Not sure when it started, I just started playing again a week ago after installing Get Famous, patching, and repairing the game (I have no mods or CC).

Are you sure you have all the walls marked as visible? These also applies to roofing.
