Romoving Item Problems

I was playing and everything was fine but after having my Sim go to paint, I went to pick up a dirty dish to put into the garbage bin but I wasn't able to to pick it up. I  was able to do this earlier and it's starting to bug me. I even exit out the game and came back but it still doing it.

If anyone can help me I would be grateful.

If you have any mods move the mods folder to desktop. Delete localthumbcache.package file in the Documents / Electronic Arts /The Sims4 game folder and fix the game in Origin.
If you don't have mods delete this file and fix the game also.
Origin/Library - right click on TS4 - option "Repair game"

I will do the fix part as I am not sure about the deleting part.

Don't worry . The game will be create the same new one file , but without saved error

Some small bug of game. If you always save the option "save and quit" it may happen. and this error will be saved in this file. Saving the game "save as" option is better. Have fun with your game
