@puzzlezaddict I uninstalled Sims 3 and the dlc over the weekend and just attempted to reinstall. Everything is queueing up properly and installing right now! Thank you so much for all of your patience and help!

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When I press download it immediately errors
What happens when the bug occurs? A pop up appears saying, "There's a problem with your download"
What do you expect to see? The ability to install my expansions

I have gone thorough all the steps that are usually recommended. Like these here:

• Clear the cache for the EA App
• Run the EA App as an administrator
• Check for any background applications blocking the EA App
• Lower your UAC settings
• Run a clean boot on your PC

Also a fresh install of both the EA app as well as The Sims 3 does not fix the issue. A support agent previously recommended I use the super updater, but that didn't fix the issue.

Hello there! I'm sorry to piggy back on this thread but I am having the same issue with Supernatural download error. I've tried the steps listed in this thread along with contacting EA support (they've been no help...). Is there any way you could help me? I'd so appreciate it!

Hello!

I am having the same issue myself except my issue is with university life, High end loft stuff and Late-night expansion... I have done everything suggested in this thread and contacted support twice who just ask me to either uninstall orgin and use EA app or uninstall EA app and use origin lol.. i am going around in circles at this point. 

Both the EA app and origin app are not installing the same things but will work perfectly fine with the base game and all my other expansion/stuff packs 

Please help!!

I recently installed a new drive in my laptop and had to reinstall everything from scratch.

I installed The Sims 3, and all the other expansions/game packs through the EA app, but when I try to install The Sims 3 Late Night, I get an error every time. It's only with this expansion, the rest installed fine.

"There's a problem with your download

Something went wrong during your download. Give us a few minutes, then try again."

I have tried installing it several times and I get this error every time.

Anyone know how to fix this and get Late Night to install?

@DARKNESS470   Try downloading it through thewsims3.com purchase history.

@DARKNESS470  I've merged your post with another thread on this issue.  While the title does say Supernatural, this problem has been affecting more packs as well.  It's still being investigated, so keep an eye on this thread for updates.

@roberta591  Sims 3 expansion and stuff packs can't be downloaded from thesims3.com, only from Origin or the EA App (or Steam).
