My game changed screen resolution on its own.  Could this have been because of an update to my video card?

Great graphics but tiny text which I can barely read. Yeah I'm old.

I do know how to change this but was just curious why it happened.

If you use the Nvidia card and GeForce Experience program this settings could be changed by this program. GeForce Experience program will set the best option for your card if by accident you will accept its suggestion.
