Repurchased Cats & Dogs expansion, not loading in game?

I returned the Pets expansion pack shortly after buying it about 2 years ago in July of 2018.

After that, the game would continue to to try and update the pack but would say download failed, but didn't affect the game.

Now that I have repurchased the Pets expansion pack, it has installed, when I try to play Sims telling me I have a pack downloading and will get a notification when it's complete.

When I mouse over the Pets icon, it says to Restart To Use rather than Owned. If i try going into the world the pack unlocks, it says I can't

I restarted the game, verified the files, and when that didn't work, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game, still no luck.

Not sure if buying and returning the pack 2 years ago is effecting this but I'd like to play the game with Pets now.

Thank you in advance, please let me know what else could help narrow the problem, not sure what other information would be useful but I would like some help with this.

Found a fix to it!

Just had to uninstall Origin and reinstall, seems to be working now!
