Release date for sims 4 [ Edited ]

Why is the release date different now? It was supposed to be Sept 1, 2014 at 9:00 pm. But now it's changed to my knowledge for the U.S. for Sept 2, 2014 at midnight. Why is that? I feel a little bit let down and betrayed.

as far as i know the pre load was/is available on the first then so ppl can dl as much as the game as possible then on the official release the 2nd on the official release  time according to where you live will be on the second to dl the last 1% so they can get into the game quicker

EA release most games officially on a Tuesday which for me in the US  for  others it will Thursday or Friday again depending on which country they live in

does this make things a little clearer for you  ?
