Registration code

I have got Sims 3 but pre owned and the code was previously used so I now can not register my game. I'm not interested in the bonus points or anything I just want to download things but can't because my game isn't registered. Any help would be great thanks 
I don't think you can get a new code on a used game.
Is there a possibilty you could get the account of the previous owner ?
You could try contacting Customer Support. I don't think anyone else is able to help with this.
