Redeeming code twice on same computer

I bought the Sims 3 a while ago, installed it though origin with no problems. I didn't play game for while so I UN installed it. Now I want to play it again, i have re downloaded origin, logged into my account. Now its saying enter code. When i enter code that's written on the game box it says code already redeemed. That is because i redeemed it before. But the Sims 3 is no longer in my games and i can't install it again because of this code that can't be redeemed twice.

Hi

Having issues with re-installing your game could be the result of several things.

1. If you are referring to REGISTERING the game on Origin or the Sims 3 website see here:http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/Information-How-to-Register-The-Sims-3/td-p/387162 . Please note that if the game is second-hand, you cannot register the game twice. So, if it has been registered before, you cannot register it again.

2. Check that you're typing it right - it sounds silly but just check. You might be mixing up a S with a 5.

3. It is possible that there is still traces of the game on your computer. Try manually un-installing it here: https://help.ea.com/article/manually-uninstalling-the-sims-3 . Note that if you still have expansion packs or stuff packs on your computer, you will have to re-install them as well for all their additional gameplay and content to be read. In that case, while you're at it, I suggest manually unistalling all the games just to clear all game traces. If you have had the game on your PC before and still have the save files - make a backup to save them if you wish.

4. And lastly, try contacting EA: https://help.ea.com/contact-us/ask . For help with navigating the site, see this: http://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2012/10/how-to-contact-ea.html

For this you will need to contact Origin/EA support they will gladly help you whit this problem  https://help.ea.com/en/origin go here press contact as give information press I still need help at the bottom of the page and then press start live chat and you will get a live chat whit an EA agent that will be glad to help you

Hi I know this is like 3 years after you posted this questions( you proberly won't reply) but did the solution with contacting EA work because I have the same problem at the moment with the sims 3. Thanks
