Sims 4 won't install on laptop - download bought from Origin store [ Edited ]

@172e3cda00349872 I am having the same issue installing on a new PC. Stuck on Preparing for days now and have uninstalled origin, restarted PC, reinstalled origin, restarted PC and still cannot get it to move past preparing.
