@mango1580 I've split your post into its own thread, since the other one was solved and perhaps not about the same problem.
Have you deleted the five cache files in your Sims 3 user data folder in Documents\Electronic Arts? These files should be deleted any time you add or remove content from the game, and any time you're troubleshooting as well. For reference, they are:
- CASPartCache.package
- compositorCache.package
- scriptCache.package
- simCompositorCache.package
- socialCache.package
If this doesn't help, please let me know exactly what you added that made your mods no longer show up. If it's easier, you can post a screenshot of the new content in a File Explorer window. Please highlight the new items (hold crtl and click on each one in turn); please also make sure the file path above the list of files is showing.
