@plavizdral  I've split your posts into their own thread, since the other thread was a few years old.  Please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Same Problem   i got same mesage  for  sims 3  and  4 trayed evriting   and those soultions  dosent fix   this   erorr

I do

  • Unistall/ install  origin   and  games
  • Unistall install/update   a grafic drivers
  • Run as admin
  • Run in compitable mode
  • Turn of firewal/antivirus
  • Add   the origin   and    sims 3.exe  and  sims 4.exe to firewall/antivirus list
  • Run the games    in  window mode
  • Unistall/ reinstall   windows

It is  frustrating. None of  those  fix the problem. Even  the  crome  steam origin   got  the  same   mesage. The pc specifics isnt the  ishue   it is  a brand new pc:

  • Intel i5 9500
  • 8gb ram
  • Ssd 356 + 1tb  hd
  • Nvidia geforce gtx  1660 6gb
  • Win  10 64 bit

Evriting is up to date  includig windows   origin steam  games drivers.

This is  ftustrating    thx to the bugy  win 10  i cant play my games. Evrting wos    worked on  win  7 Including   sims 3    4    skyrim
