Random crash in Gallery? [ Edited ]

I'm in an angry mood. I usually play The Sims 4 for hours without saving as it never crashes but today I did a lot of progress in game on my house and my Sims. And I basically lost 5 hours of work. The game crashed whilst I was scrolling through the gallery. It just popped up saying Sims 4 has stopped working. Then my only option was to close the program. 

I tried it again later when i opened the game for the second time. Went to the gallery for a minute or two and the same thing happened. Why does this happen?

Could be any number of reasons.

Server Issues, something blocking, glitch in the connection.

My advice: Always save before you use the gallery.

Did you try the auto save as well to see if that is newer ?

It was only like 5 minutes newer which was quite confusing lol.

It's not a timed autosave.

It's supposed to save when you do certain things though. I'm a bit fuzzy on the details though.

Is the crashing still occuring ?
