Having issues with the demo   ? Please feel free to open a new thread in here but do read this before doing so. I'm going to list the most common issues and what do to (as far as I know them).

Common Issues

Below you'll find a few common issues and hopefully a solution. Please read before making your own thread.

I'm getting an out of Range error on my monitor

Right click on The Sims 4 Create A Sim Demo icon in "My Games"
Go to "Game Properties" (make sure the CAS Demo is not running)
Type: -w in the "command Line Arguments" then Apply

I'm getting a black screen/llama face problem.

Unclear at this point. If you do see a window, try right clicking. If so see a picture of a llama doing this, please read this linked post here very carefully and follow all the steps as instructed.

I have no sound

Don't have a real solution but here's a few things you can try

• Make sure your speakers or headphones are firmly fixed
• Play around with the ingame audio settings
• Update your sound drivers 

I'm getting a connection error

Spoiler

Depending on where you get it, the cause is different. If you have troubles with Origin itself connecting, make sure you have Proxies turned off.

Control Panel --> Internet Options --> Connections --> LAN Settings --> Untick Proxy Server

Also make sure your firewall and Antivirus aren't blocking the connection.

If you get the error message when trying to upload something to the Gallery, it's most likely Server Issues. The main point of this demo is to stress test the servers.

 How can I take a screenshot

In game you can use the c key to take screenshots.

If that doesn't work, use print screen, the snapping tool or a third party tool. You might need to change to windowed or full windowed mode.
