I have played the Sims 4 for years and never had any problems. I use a minimal amounts of mods, always keep my game up to date, and purchase all the new packs. Recently, when I have gone to play, my game will not connect to the gallery. I try pressing connect and am always given an error that the game cannot connect. I thought it was just a gallery issue until I went to look at the new packs and it would not allow me to because I am not connected to the internet. My computer works fine with literally everything else, so I am certain that there is not an actual connection issue. Origin is online. I had gone on and off trying to find a solution. I have removed all my mods, cleared my cache, repaired the game, restarted my computer, and tried just about everything. In my sims game options, online settings are turned on. I have even uninstalled both the game and origin and then reinstalled them. I have also searched through so many threads of people with similar issues and found none that work for me. I have also tried setting the sims 4 and origin to "run as administrator" as that was a solution for many of the threads. No matter what I try, nothing seems to work. I have been trying to troubleshoot this problem on my own for a few days now, however, I have run out of options and become frustrated as I am unable to get new packs or access the gallery. Sometimes after I repair the game, I get a few gallery notifications, but when I click to look at them, it gives me the connect to internet option. As someone who has played the game for years and put a lot of money into it, I'm becoming frustrated by the inability to play right now.

My sims 4 won't connect online. my origin is working and says its online but when I launch sims and try to go to the gallery is says "offline want to connect?" I say yes it says "unable to connect check your connection." My connection is fine I can use my laptop as normal my husband can connect to his Xbox and play online just fine so our internet is not the problem. I have restarted my router multiple times. I have also restarted origin a lot also I've cleared the catch. I've disabled origin in game I've done the virus and firewall thing allowing the game and origin through I've deleted multiple apps on my laptop restarted my laptop I've done everything I can think of and find online which most things I've seen from years ago nothing really very recent but I'm trying my luck I have also ran origin and sims 4 shortcuts as admin and nothing is working am I doing something wrong? Please help

Yeah, I'll throw my problems in with that as well. Just recently installed the Sims 4 and started playing it. Haven't been able to connect to the gallery once over the week or so I've been playing. Tried pretty much everything listed there, allowed both it and Origin through the firewall and I'm running both as Administrator.
Funnily enough, this isn't the only game in my Origin that I can't connect to servers on. I have the same problem with Mass Effect 3, except its worse there because online needs to be active to allow all the DLC stuff to be active in the game, which is just insane.
I called support on that, multiple times, they gave me the run around on a whole bunch of solutions, never got it fixed, and they acted like it was something on my end despite literally everything else working perfectly. Hell, various other games on Origin working perfectly as well (including the first two Mass Effect games, go figure).
I'm not so frustrated with the Sims being unable to connect that I feel the need to call support (especially when I elected to substitute with a lot of mods), but it sure is a wacky coincidence that so many people have been unable to connect to the game for quite some time, and in my case, it's similar unexplainable issue to another game.

Hey!
I'm about to cry.
I cant connect to the Sims 4 Gallery. It has been like that for about a month now. I've tried the following:
- Restarted my PC
- Restarted the Wifi router
- Repaired the game in Origin
- Disconnected and connected the Internet-connection in Origin and logged in and out of Origin
- Both ran Sims and Origin and Sims as administrator
- Uninstalled Origin and Sims and installed over and over again
- I have no CC/Mods
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you in advance guys <3
