Re: Question

@Riku_Quinn  I don't know of any mod that automatically ages up inactive sims based on whether they're friends or schoolmates with your active sims.  The game is designed to have sims of all different ages, each with the same lifespan.  But you can manually change the age of any sim you want.  All you need is NRaas MasterController and its Cheats add-on.

When you have the mod installed, first look at your own sims' Simology panel to see how long they have left in their current age stage.  Then click on City Hall and select NRaas > MasterController > Sim > Intermediate > Age: Absolute, X out the filter, and find another sim whose age you want to change.  You can set how long they've been in their current age stage to match your own sim, for example if childhood is 14 days long and your sim has 5 days to aging up, you'd set the inactive sim's value to 9.  Repeat this for any other sim whose age you want to match yours.

Keep in mind that inactive sims can temporarily get stuck without aging, so the sims whose ages you change might not age up at exactly the same time, but it should only take a sim-day or two to catch up.  NRaas Overwatch also does a stuck aging check and will fix the problem, and I'd recommend using it, and ErrorTrap, for the overall health of your save as well.

Finally, NPC sims assigned to the service pool, so newspaper delivery children and teen babysitters, will lose their service assignments when they age up.  From there, they might also be purged from the game, as the service pool is unstable already and especially so when it comes to sims that don't have any particular assignment.  If you want these sims to stick around, your best bet is to add them to a household.  You can do so by clicking on any house in-game and selecting NRaas > MC > Add Sim, but of course you can't add children to an empty house, and expect them to stay, unless you add an adult as well.

Re: Question

@Riku_Quinn  What kind of feature are you looking for?  There are certainly modded age managers available, but it's hard to make a suggestion without knowing what you're hoping to accomplish.  You can also trigger age transitions manually, or adjust the days until a sim's birthday and let them age normally from there.
