Problems with businesses

After running my business I close up and switch lots and come back to my business I have to totally rehire new employees & business progress is gone.This happens every single time I try to play this part of the game. It's so annoying after putting in so much work just to not be able to play it. HELP!!!

as asked in other threads you posted in, are you using any mods in your game ?

Does the same happen if you start a new save for testing purposes ?

Hi thanks for replying! I've just started a new game to see if the same occurs there. I will let you know by the end of the day if the problem persists.
