Problems with Pets Expansion sims 3

Hello everybody

First, sorry for my future grammatical mistakes, English is not my native language. I have installed The sims 3 and it was all fine, I played a lot, then I bought the Pets expansion and it was good, but when I installed Late night and wanted to play,the Pets expansion was loading, I closed it and when I opened Sims 3, the base game, the Pets expansion was loading again. I reinstalled the game,but the problem has not disappeared. I don't know what to do

Any suggestion is appreciated

@BrissYvaine  When Sims 3 is loading, it shows a screen and tips from your newest pack by the date EA released it, regardless of the order in which you installed.  Since Pets is newer than Late Night, you should always see the Pets screen, unless of course you install a newer pack.  Is the Late Night content showing up in-game?  It's easy to tell: when you get to the Main Menu, click New Game, and one of your options should be Bridgeport, the world that came with LN.
