Problem with the game calendar and not running the game (The sims 4)

I recently bought game extension The Sims 4 Seasons and I have two problems:
1) The game calendar is bugged. I tried to pick over my own content, uninstall and reinstall the game, but nothing helped.
2) Origin, when I click "Play", the game does not load. It just seems like "loading" when it throws out a window with "play" and nothing goes any further. So I reinstalled Origin, tried installing the game again, and still nothing. I do not know what to try because nothing I've come to hasn´t helped me.

Do you have any mods or custom content (CC) in your game? Could you test without?
You can just move the folder to a location outside the Electronic Arts folder.
If the game works without your CC and mods in, your issue is probably caused by a broken mod or CC.

If it still doesn't work I suggest taking out half of your mods and CC and testing the game. Then keep splitting until you find all that is broken.
Either update or remove the broken CC/mods.
