Problem installing latest update

Hey Simmers...

We're having some issues installing the latest update for the Sims 4. 

The Game was working perfectly till we tried updating the game.

When updating it says 'Update Paused' at 100% (While It's Validating)

I did not recieve this error however my wife is.

Anyone know's what to do? or if it's an error in the game is self?

i restarted my laptop but it still wouldnt install the update

having this issue as well, i restarted, logged out and back in to origin, and nothing. Before restart it failed to update completely now it says its ready to play but when i click play it says it needs to update so I do that and it says its ready to play and thats just a cycle.
