Playable Mods Not Working

Hi all. Playable mods for TS4 (i.e controllable pets mod, extra aspirations, etc.) won't work for me. I have script mods and custom content enabled, so I know that's not the issue. Also, my custom content works just fine, and I have everything in the same Mods folder, so I know I have my mods in the correct folder. I've never seen anyone come across this issue before, and any help would be appreciated! :-)

You have enabled of course all options related to mods in the settings of the game so there has to be another reason.
Are you sure you have new updated versions of this mods?
After last patches, a lot of mods are no longer compatible with the game.

Your mods are from December - before these patches
Check if there are newer versions of these mods.
