[PS 3] House Problem [ Edited ]

I cannot lower the walls on my new house (on PS3) my sim is inside but when I try to see inside the green light goes onto the roof, so I can't instruct my sim to do anything inside. Can someone help please!!!

while inside the house  try hold L2 and press the left directional arrow a couple of times

On the bottom left of the screen (by the button that you press to exit or save the game) there should be a button that looks sort of like a pointy T with a spuare on each side press it and then a little piece will pop out of it. press the one in the middle, it might take a few tries, but trust me it will work if you don't understand please let me know and I will explain it in better detail.
