PLEASE HELP

Hi randomly my sims game stopped working. The game will start to load up but it won't take up a full screen and then as it is loading the screen goes white while the music still plays in the background and it says the page isn't responding. I've run repairs and updates on the game, I don't have any mods or cc, and I even uninstalled and then reinstalled the game and it still won't work. My computer is a Toshiba laptop and only a few years old and it's always been compatible before. PLEASE HELP ME FIX MY GAME

@Holly2816  Try disabling Origin in-game: hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.

If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
