PLEASE HELP - Sims or Origin Won't Start

i am getting VERY worried now, i have spent a lot of money on Sims and it wont load up. my origin wont even load, it launches but just says 'well, that didn't go as planned' i have tried quitting it, restarting it and so many more. even with wifi it wont work, if i click onto the actual sims 4 app i login into origin then it stays on that same screen. i am getting very annoyed and upset as i have spent money on this game and now it wont even load. i can no longer even open sims, i deleted all custom content and tried, again, it did not work. PLEASE HELP!! i am very worried and would love to have my game back

@Kool4kidz  Let's start with the Origin issue and see whether it solves the Sims 4 issue as well.  The first thing to try is clearing Origin's cache.  If that doesn't help, uninstall Origin "the hard way" and reinstall.

While testing, please remove your entire Sims 4 game folder from Documents\Electronic Arts (you can put it on your desktop) to eliminate it as a potential source of any problems.  You can always put it back later, once your game is working again.

@puzzlezaddict thank you for your advice but nothing worked, i have deleted origin and reinstalled it when sims open it says i need to repair the game, but, as said my origin wont load at all. i have tried doing this online but i can not repair it online.

@Kool4kidz  Clear the cache again, do another uninstall "the hard way," and then install a legacy verison of Origin instead.  This is a direct download link:
