PC The Sim 4

Hi there,

I am a foreigner living in Tokyo. I am considering place a preorder on a PC game, The Sims 4 (US version) here, but I am not sure if I could play PC games in US version here with my PC bought in Japan. Could you help me on this?

Game dvds usually don't have region codes like movies do. You should be able to play it on any computer bought anywhere.

You can also register the US DVD with Origin and then just get the download version for free. Only issue you might have is that it's unclear at this point, if you can download in english in Japan.

Be aware that this info is based on past experiences. There's no way of telling how it will be for us users.
