Original SIMs and Lots wont Load in base-game towns

I have recently purchased and installed the Get Famous expansion pack but now when I load the game- although the houses and content in the new pack works fine- the original content in Willow Creek and Oasis Springs will not load. If I am on either of these neighbourhoods and click on a household that I have not made, then click play, nothing happens. When hovering over the original households I just get a loading wheel or my new households (Which aren't actually on that Lot.) 

I have tried closing the game and restarting and simple things like clicking on a household I have created and then going back into the neighbourhood but these have not worked. 

If anyone has a fix I would be very grateful.

If you have any mods move the mods folder to the desktop. Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder and fix the game in Origin.
Origin/Library -right click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.

(If you don't have CC or mods delete this file and fix the game also. The game will create the same new file but without saved errors. This file you will find in the Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4 - folder)

Turn on the game to create a new, empty mods folder. Check if a game is working now without mods. )
Then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods every time checking if the game is OK. Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method
If it does not work then we'll try another method later
