Origin to Steam

★★★ Newbie

I've played Sims 4 on Origin and collected a lot of packs over the years. If I were to buy the game on steam, nothing else, would my packs still be accessible to me?

@7b2re21l2u6k yes, all you need is the base game, then connect your accounts and play the game from steam. The packs will be recognized (you might need to reinstall them though).

Sims 4 Base game is going to be free soon: https://www.ea.com/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/news/play-the-sims-4-for-free-beginning-october-18 so you might want to wait with getting the steam version until then :D

Be aware that even if you have the steam version, you'd still need to open Origin/EA App to play the game.
