Origin problems

I'm getting very frustrated I went and bought the Sims 4 this morning and I started to download it and it told me I had to log on with origin so it went through and did it's updates but when I try to open Origin to sign in it says "online login is currently unavailable" so I keep trying I re-downloaded origin, restarted my router and I can log on to origin on my internet browser. Is there just too many people logged on to origin? I just really want to play. Help

Make sure your firewall and anti virus are not blocking your connection.

I am having the same problem.  I could get online in Origin yesterday, but not today, and I really want to play The Sims 4!

I checked my firewall and antivirus software, but there's no problem there.  Is this an Origin problem?

Is there just too many people trying to use origin at once?

Make sure you have Proxies turned off.

Control Panel --> Internet Options --> Connections --> LAN Settings --> Untick Proxy Server
