jest uninstall and reinstall origin (download new setup) and the game works 200%

I'm having the same trouble!
I have already consulted an agent from EA by the live chat. She guided me through unistalling manually origin, then reinstalling, but it didn't solve the problem.
I unistalled and reinstalled the game, it didn't solve.
I disabled my antivirus and firewall, it didn't solve.
Then the EA agent wasn't avaible anymore, or something, because in a minute I wasn't connect to no one, and now I'm trying to reach another agent.
Was someone able to fix this problem? I'm getting really frustrated!

I am also receiving this error. I played the game just fine until 2:30AM EST. Then three hours later when I couldn't sleep, when I started the game I received this same error. I already had Origin in game disabled. I am able to play all other Origin games: Bejeweled 3 and Sims 3.
I had no Mods.
I did a soft reset of Sims 4.
When that didn't work, I uninstalled Sims 4.
Reinstalled Sims 4, patched, tried to run the game and got the Origin error again.
Repaired the game. Same Origin error.
I uninstalled Origin and deleted the files below:
c:\ProgramData\Origin\
c:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Origin
c:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Origin (was already gone after uninstalling)
Redownloaded Origin. Installed Origin as Admin.
Made sure to disable Origin in game.
Still receiving the error.
Running Windows 7 Professional SP1
Origin ver: 9.5.12.2862 - 36487
Sims 4 ver: 1.5.149.1020
I do not have Outdoor Living or Get to Work.
Everything worked fine until I tried to start up the game literally 3 hours after I had shut down for the night. It also shows, when looking at My Games in Origin, the number of hours played listed correctly.
Any suggestions?

When you click on Help - About on Origin. What version do you have now ?

Most people have fixed it by now so unsure what's the problem still.
Can you do an Origin Error Report and put the ID here: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-use-origin-error-reporting/

i have followed your instructions to be able to chat with a live tech..however the only button i see is Ask Now, not chat now..can u help me please...i have been trying to troubleshoot our issues with this game for the past two hours now...this is very frustrating
