Origin and The Sims 4 Not Working

I went to (clicked on ) Origin but it won't load for me and neither will Sims 4 when I clicked on it's icon. I  am hoping that there is a way to fix this as there is no way I can get a new laptop right now.

Please uninstall Origin. Then download the latest version here: https://www.origin.com/dnk/en-us/store/download
After installation login to the account you have The Sims 4 on. Rightclick the game in your game library and select Repair.
