One of my saved games doesn’t load

All of my saved games load and open without a problem, except for one. When I start it I can choose the household on the map but the loading screen takes forever (no change after 10 minutes). I made pretty much in this game so I don’t want to delete the file/ never play it again.

@leybella123  Can you load a different household within the same save?  If so, try playing that household for a few sim-hours.  Use "save as" to rename the save (so the original remains intact), quit, reload the game, and try to load your existing household.

If that doesn't work, try loading a backup version of the save—the current one, not the new one you make when playing a different household.
