Not able to play as household [ Edited ]

Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.58.63.1210
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Legacy
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? After trying to play as a household from the map
What happens when the bug occurs? I will enter my game and go to the map, but when I press the arrow button to play as the household, it exits the sims 4.
What do you expect to see? I should be able to play as my household.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

After I enter my game as normal and go to the map, I choose the household I want to play as, but then I automatically exit the sims. I can  create new games, but I can not play as a already existing game.

moving this to tech for troubleshooting

A lot of mods/custom content currently crash the game as they are no longer compatible with the newest patch.

Objects with a lot of slots no longer work and need to be removed
