Not Connected???

I need some help. Everytime I try to play the game it comes up with a message Unable to connect to origin. I have the sims 3 + supernatural. I did not download it from origin but from a disk. I have origin on my pc but not sure how to connect so I can get updates and all that.

Don't worry about it too much, mine does that too. EA is retarded. :P
You can get by fine without it. When the game has an update for you, that will go through fine.
You just won't get updates on the hour as new stuff comes in nor be able to buy stuff with sim points while ingame, that's all.
It an annoyance, I'll grant you, but EA are famous for breaking their game and not giving a toss about it.
JUst continue to play the game without logging in, but try again every so often just in case they bothered to fix it. :P
