I had bought the Sims 3 Pets and I tried it on my old laptop. It was all jaggedy..... Now I want to install it onto my new laptop but I lost my base game and I don't want to buy a new one because I had already spent money on it once. Is there anything that I can do?

Do you still have it on your old computer ? If so, you'll find instructions how to retrieve your serial code from your registry in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/Troubleshooting-Steps/m-p/714/message-uid/714#U714
If not, you need to contact Customer Support.

Please contact EA support, if you have registered the game on Sims 3 website, they will issue digital downlaod for the game and you would not even require any disc to play it.
You can contact live chat support using this link https://help.ea.com/contact-us
