No extensions and stuff tab in Sims 3 Launcher?

I bought my first Sims 3 extension through Origin and installed it but when I open the Sims 3 launcher there isn't even an extensions and stuff tab where I can select the extension I want to play. How do I fix this? The launcher is version 1.67.2.024017

@Tegan299  Are you playing the 32-bit Mac version, by any chance?  In Windows, installing a pack through Origin is supposed to patch the game to 1.69.  That's the only patch level that has an Expansions & Stuff tab in the launcher.  The others don't have any built-in way to enable or disable packs; all installed packs will load every time you launch the game.
