No Ambitions?

★★★★★ Novice

Bought the sims 3 supernatural and installed it, I realised that my ambitions saves are gone. There's no towns, outfits, hair etc. My origin account still shows that I own it but the game, does not.

Re: No Ambitions?

@Livy_Licious  If this is an Origin install, did you make sure that Ambitions is still checked off in the launcher?  Sometimes a pack will get deselected for no particular reason, and sometimes it's selected, but the game doesn't recognize it.  Try restarting your computer, unchecking the boxes for all your packs and rechecking them, and then loading the game.

If Ambitions isn't listed in the launcher, try clearing Origin's cache, and if that doesn't work, uninstalling Origin "the hard way" and reinstalling.

And if Ambitions still doesn't show in the launcher after these steps, you'll need to contact EA customer support to ask about your pack.  Sometimes a pack can be deactivated from an account by mistake, but if you bought Ambitions from an unauthorized third-party seller, it's also possible that you received a bad code.  EA has been deactivating such codes for a couple of years now, sometimes long after the pack was registered, and despite the fact that the players usually have no idea there was anything wrong with their purchase.  At any rate, the only way to sort it out is to have a support rep look at your account.

I don't work for EA. I'm just trying to help fellow players with their games.
