@allyssaearl Roaring Heights is a Store world, not an expansion. Please see the first post of this thread for how to install it:

Hello good day ... Don't know if you're still having this problem or if you've solved it . I had the same problem today and tried all the above mentioned prompts with no prevail. All you need to do is uninstall the sims 3 base game along with the add ons which are installed and reinstall. It will automatically detect all of the expansions you have purchased . It is however a frustrating timely thing to do but it seems as though it's the only way to do it . I don't know yet if your saved game will be lost or not so to be safe maybe copy the saved game inside the sims folder before uninstalling so that you can place it back after reinstallation is complete. Hope I have helped.

I bought The Sims 3 - PETS expansion over the internet directly from the EA app, I received the confirmation email, however, the 20-digit serial number for installing the package does not appear. The game appears in the library written "new" but there is no option to download or see the serial. HeEEEEELP

@thxarantes When you buy a game or DLC through the EA App, you're not supposed to receive a code. The content is added directly to your game library. The fact that you can't download the new pack is an EA App bug; it doesn't have anything to do with a missing code.
The only current way around this bug is to uninstall and reinstall Sims 3 in its entirety. But there are other issues with reinstalling, so if you have the space, I'd suggest renaming the existing program files rather than removing them. First, open the EA App, select Sims 3, then Manage > View properties, and you'll see the install location. This is for Sims 4, but you get the idea:
Close the EA App and kill the EABackgroundService in the Task Manager. Open that file path and rename the Sims 3 folder. Then restart your computer, open the App, and download Sims 3 again. If everything installs correctly, you can delete the old Sims 3 folder you renamed. You'll need to shut down the App and the background service again.
If one or more packs don't install correctly, close the App and kill the background service, then copy the folders for those packs from the old Sims 3 folder you renamed to the new one. (Pack folders are labeled by pack type and release order, e.g. Seasons was the eighth expansion, so its folder is EP08.) Open the App and try again to download those packs. The App should verify their presence and finalize the install rather than redownloading the content. When you're done, you can delete the old Sims 3 folder.

Hey, the only way i could find is clicking on the sims 3 in the ea app and clicking uninstall and then clicking reinstall. For me it only said i could reinstall late night pack but just press ok and then it actually installs all of your packs it just takes forever and is a really silly way to download a sims 3 pack. so much for EA's app to be a quicker way to download games :/

Is this still the only way to solve the issue? I just got 4 expansions for Sims 3 and no options to install them, only that I have them and that they're ''new''. Manage Add-ons doesn't do anything at all but lets me look at the content that I have, whether it's installed or not.
