sims 3 expansion isn't installing on the ea app

@Mauzawa  Which expansion are you missing, and when and where did you buy it?  And just to be clear, does the EA App say you need to buy the pack again, or does it say you own it?

I got the Pet Addon today. After 2 times cleaning EA App cache and rebooting my computer I have got the download link. 
But I think, something they did completely wrong with the EA App. With the older Origin App never had such problems. Want it back :D

Hi! I tried following the steps too, but still couldn`t download the Add-on. 

Did you manage to find a solution or are you still in the same situation?

@fanicolin  I've heard recently from people who say the Origin workaround still helps and some who say it doesn't anymore.  It's easy enough to try, so please download Origin from the link I posted and let me know how it goes.

Actually, for me at least, wasn't necessary to download Origin again. I pretty much uninstalled EA App and The Sims 3 (with all the other add-ons), then reinstalled the app, downloaded another game I had on the platform before starting to download The Sims 3 again. When I started the download, all the add-ons were there.

The only solution I’ve found is completely uninstalling the game and then redownloading it with all of your add-ons ticked on the drop down menu. It’s really annoying.

I had the same problem and my solution, as previously mentioned here, is to completely uninstall the sims 3 and then download it all again. It takes forever to download, but it works.

@puzzlezaddict I’m having the same issue. Except I purchased Into the Future through the EA App. When I click manage add on(s) it states the I own this game and says “In Game Content” everything else shows installed.

and restart your computer, then see if you can download the pack.

I cleared the cache and restarted, but still had the same problem. It said I owned the sims 3 pets (newly added) but there was never an option to install it anywhere. I ended reinstalling the sims 3 and it installed the pets expansion pack that way. Reinstalling the sims 3 seemed to be the only way to fix it for me.

EDIT:I forgot to add, I also tried repairing the game, but that didn't fix the problem. Only a complete reinstall of the sims 3 worked for me.
