@jacintamcint When you purchase a TS3 add on in the EA app you need to install the add on. Click manage in the game icon and it should be the very first item. If it is not there look to see if the add-on says you own this add-on. If it indicates to buy the add-on try to clear the EA app cache by clicking the three bars in the upper left. Then click help. app recovery. then clear clear cache. When the clear cache is done restart the EA app. Check game and see if you can now install the add 0n manage.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong, it’s never given me the option to install. I purchased it and it says I own it.
When I go to manage add ons this is what it looks like.
I re installed the entire ea app. I cleared the cache. I got a refund and removed Pets - then waited 24hours and purchased it again (that’s what ea help told me to do) but this is all that comes up and it’s not there when I launch sims 3 or when I repair.

@jacintamcint This is a known issue, and as far as I've seen, there's only one workaround, which you can see in this thread:

I am having this exact same issue. I did the online chat to try and figure out what I need to do but I wasn't given an option to install or download anything after purchasing the sims 3 pets. I want to know how to be able to play it too since it's one of my favorite expansion packs and now I wonder if it's going to be like this for all the packs I try to add or if it's this one specifically having issues

@481c32514de2e39a Please try the suggestion in the post immediately above yours.

Yeah I read the other forum and saw someone mentioned that you have to buy through the website instead of the EA app so I am trying that now and see if it works. The online chat with EA was no help, just told me to clear the cache, uninstall and reinstall the game and then the app and let them know if it still wasn't working and then ended the chat. So, trying to see if the other options work better since I can't download to Origin app

@481c32514de2e39a Where you buy the game has nothing to do with this issue, I mean as long as you buy a legitimate copy. The idea is to reinstall Origin, even if you can't actually use it, and let Origin download the missing pack(s). You'd need to try to download through the EA App first, then close it once the App is clearly not going to follow through.

I had bought the sims 3 island paradise in march and it keep saying it i own this pack but its not in my game.

@amarirush Does it say the pack is downloaded or not? Open your EA App game library, click Sims 3, select Manage > Manage Add-ons, and find Island Paradise on the list. If you see a Download button, click it. If the download gets stuck on Preparing, please see the accepted solution in this thread:

I also have the issue, and I did as you said, but the expansion isn't there.
