My sims won't respond to commands unless they are in pause mode

When I play a certain household in Sims 4, I can only give commands to my Sims and change Sims during pause mode. This doesn't happen when I play other households and the function normally when I move them to another lot.

I tried clearing all the furniture in the house and deleting all of the furniture mods but it still won't work.

This is something that's reported from time to time. Sometimes it helps to go traveling or to move out and back in.

I would be very interested to see this issue in action though, so would you be willing to share your save with me ?

If so, please zip your saves folder and upload it somewhere like dropbox,, googledrive or OneDrive and PM me the link.
