My sims 4 isn't downloading

So i bought sims pets before it was out and now when i try to download it ( It suppose to do it by itself when you open origin ) but every time i try to download it says "We are  sorry Origin was unable to download your game . Please check your internet connection , or try again later" but the strange thing is that my internet runs just fine it really a soul crushing
