My sims 4 game doesn't work [ Edited ]

My sims 4 game doesn't work, I just bought it on amazon, a disc copy, downloaded origin and such, installed the game and used the product code, but when I open up the game, it is pixelating and not loading the screen resolution. I use windows 7 btw, and I have never encountered a problem like this one. Also, the audio works just fine and I can click the screen like the normal menu, it just flips out basically.
