My sim won’t gain fame.

I’ve been messing around with the Get Famous pack on the Sims 4, and one of my sims won’t gain fame. Now, I have three sims in this household. Two young adults and a toddler, one of the young adults got offered a job as an actor. So I accepted it. It didn’t take long before I realized that she wasn’t gaining any fame. Even though I was uploading videos from the Video Station as well. She has level ten Acting and Charisma, and she’s been promoted to SuperStar at the moment. When I check her fame, it says that she’s “Out Of The Spotlight.” I used cheats to raise her celebrity level, but she’s still not gaining fame. My other sims are gaining fame, even the other young adult in the household. I don’t know what to do, is it a bug or was something done wrong on my part?

@Chante1228  open the fame perks panel, the screen where you select perks and look at the bottom left of the window. Does the button say "Step into the Spotlight" or "opt out of fame" or "Quit the spotlight" or something like that?

Click it and see what happens.

To gain fame you can not be "Out of the spotlight" so change that setting so she is again in the spotlight and can gain fame.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I’m not sure, it’s just this one sim I’m having the issue with.
What happens when the bug occurs? I can’t gain any fame.
What do you expect to see? I except to gain fame.

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

So... I moved three sims of mine from my main household to a different house. My previous household had one sim that gained fame wonderfully via the Videos Station. But as soon as I moved three other sims into a different home and put one in the acting career, they wouldn’t gain fame. Not even via the Videos Station. I disabled my Mods and Custom content and still had the problem. And the Opt Stay Out Of Spotlight option wasn’t on. The second sim is gaining fame via painting, and singing at bars but not the first. I’ve been having this problem with this household for a week, and I’m not sure what to do.

The button said Step Into The Spotlight, upon pressing it, it seems to be fixed. Thank you.
