My pack has disappeared - The Sims 3 Seasons.

★★★★★ Newbie

So I'm honestly quite confused about the whole thing, I feel silly writing this but oh well.

About a week or two ago, my Sims 3 Seasons stopped showing up in the launcher and of course in my game, it still shows as installed on Origin. I have looked this up and I've done what the other answers had suggested and that hasn't worked, which is, funnily enough, quite frustrating.

I did however purchase my code from CDKeys, so I don't think I can go to EA customer service with this issue. All my other packs are from CDKeys and they all are working perfectly fine.

I look forward to any answers, thank you in advance for any help given!

@sguigglygoggli  Try repairing the game in Origin: open your game library, right-click on the Sims 3 icon, and select Repair.  If that doesn't help, try clearing Origin's cache, and if that doesn't help either, uninstall Origin "the hard way" and reinstall.

If none of this makes a difference, it's entirely possible that the product key for Seasons was deactivated.  This can happen with bad codes, and the fact that you bought yours from an unauthorized seller makes getting a bad code a real risk, although it's not inevitable.  You're certainly fine to contact EA customer support and ask about the status of the product key for Seasons, regardless of where you bought it.

If the key is in fact deactivated, you'll need to get it removed from your account before you can purchase another copy.  Some support reps think this isn't possible, but it is, and EA support has been removing deactivated codes from players' accounts for several years now.  So if the support rep you reach isn't helpful, try someone else.

In the future, you can avoid this kind of situation by purchasing either directly from Origin or from an authorized third-party seller.
