I have Googled how to solve this issue and came across a solution, one of which I don't fully understand, and when I tried it it didn't work but I DID find the saved folders.
Extra details;
- I found them under documents/Game Folders/The Sims 4/saves
- The saves are;
Slot_00000002.save
Slot_00000002.save.ver0
Slot_00000002.save.ver1
Slot_00000003.save
Slot_00000003.save.ver0
Slot_00000003.save.ver1
Slot_00000003.save.ver2
Slot_00000003.save.ver3
Slot_00000003.save.ver4
I haven't been using The Sims 4 for very long and only had 2 households, but I would rather not remake them from memory

@eeveetheone The saves need to be in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 saves. I'm not sure why or how the Sims 4 folder was moved to "Game Folders," but the game won't read the data there.
