My Sims 4 mods legit won't work, only certain mods work some don't?

I swear I have tried everything and only certain mods work and others do. I have them in the right folder and everything. What do I do?

Okay I noticed all of my TS4 script mods dont work nor show up and I have script mods allowed?

Notice that script mods can not be nested more than one level down in the Mods folder. If that is your issue then correct this. For instance:

Mods\scripts\firstscript  Too deep.

Mods\firstscript  OK.
