My Sims 4 game won't load

★★★ Newbie

I downloaded my Sims 4 game and expansions to my new laptop and whenever I try to start up the game it only loads the Maxis and Sims 4 screen and then goes completely white. I cannot close the window unless I restart the computer. NO Mods or CC.

Go to the Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "repair game"

If it will not help could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps here: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/how-to-gather-dxdiag-information/
You can attach the text file to your post directly in option "Reply" - not Quick Reply

I don't work for EA

Uninstall or turn off your McAfee Antivirus program. If you have Win10 it comes with the Windows Defender antivirus program and you really don't need this Mac Afee. Computers often encounter problems with this specific component as it utilizes more of the CPU’s resources than most would like.
You have a bit too weak graphics card. This game requires a card with dedicated Memory: 124 MB and your card have only 64MB
Worse is that this card will borrow memory from your system and you have only 3982MB RAM available OS Memory.
If you will able to launch the game after uninstalling Mac Affe go to the game options and lower graphics setting. (Click three dots on the right top of the screen when the game will open)

Try to launch the game in windowed mode
