My Sims 4 game isn't working

• My sims game isn't working, it's stayed on the sims 4 logo before the loading screen pops up and it's been frozen like that for ages. I feel like I'm the only one with this issue. Does anyone know what I should do?

Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.
