My Sims 4 Cats and Dogs Title and Action issue

I just downloaded the Sims 4 and Cats and dogs Bundle after extensive issues regarding my old account being lost and now I am having issues with the titles and words on actions with anything relating to the expansion? The base game actions and things all seem to be working fine but even the notification things won’t work and it just comes up with a blank message. I’ve already tried shutting down my computer and repairing the expansion and the base game but nothing seems to be working. Anyone else having this problem? How can I fix it?
