My Sims 3 Reset Itself?

I went to go play the sims 3, and I discovered that all of my custom content, mods, everything is all gone! I'm not sure what happened. Is there a way to get it all back?

It's like the game just reset itself/wiped itself completely, and I'm not sure what to do. Even the backups are gone.

@snowstarthewolf  I've moved your post to the Sims 3 PC tech forum.

It sounds like your Sims 3 game folder (the one in Documents\Electronic Arts) was moved elsewhere; when the game couldn't find that folder, it spawned a new one.  The most common cause is the folder getting uploaded to cloud storage, either OneDrive (Windows) or iCloud (macOS).  Please look there for your old folder, disable automatic cloud syncing, and move your old folder back to Documents\Electronic Arts.
