My Sims 3 Generations is installed but doesn't show up in the game

The Sims 3 expansion pack Generations does not show up in game.

On origin it says that it is installed so its not like i can repurchase it or anything.

It does not show up in the "expansions and stuff" tab in the launcher nor do any of the features within game play.

I HAVE TRIED:

• Repairing the game (multiple times)
• Deleting ALL my custom content (that hurt)
• Uninstalling and reinstalling

Please help me get generations back, this expansion pack is such a vital pack to my game play, I have played it before however ever since I updated origin it has just stopped working. I miss it and I cant even repurchase it.

@annamcgivern14  Is your computer a pc or mac? Where did you purchase the pack?

PC and I bought it from an unauthorised seller on eBay :/
